Despiser Collector's Edition Bluray is coming this October!
Philips Cook’s Despiser is an eccentric, non-stop menagerie of machine gun battles, early CGI masterwork with an endless array of monsters that make it one of the most unique direct to video features of the VHS and early DVD era. Cook painstakingly crafts a green screen netherworld steeped in brutal violence, religious mythology and action movie tropes, all filtered through a dream-like,…

EVIL Doesn't Want You to Be All That You Can Be! "Despiser" reviewed! (Visual Vengeance / Blu-ray)
The “Despiser” Collector Edition Blu-ray Is a Must Own! Gordon Hauge is an inspirating artist with little motivation. Having just lost his contract work, being evicted from his home, and his wife leaving him, Gordon is left with virtually nothing, even no purpose. While speeding home late a night, Gordon swerves to avoid pedestrians in the road and crashes his car, waking up in a…

📽️ Operation Finale (2018)
This movie was so interesting! It was extremely detailed and easy to follow. It wasn’t super action-packed, although there was some action; but it kept my interest the whole time. The fact that it’s based on a true story just makes it even better, especially since I learned some things I never knew about Israel after World War II. I would definitely recommend this movie especially if you’re someone who is interested in history.
Sex/nudity: 2/10 (kissing, woman briefly seen in a bra)
Language: 4/10 (one f word and several other curse words)
Violence: 7/10 (gory violence vividly described but not seen, other violence including torture seen on screen)
Overall rating: 7/10

"As important as food fermentation has been for most of human history we've had no idea what these creatures looked like, nor that they even existed. It wasn't until the late 1600s that a Dutch scientist by the name Antonie van Leeuwenhoek got to see the kind of zoomed-in picture of microbes that we just saw in our sauerkraut. As a textile merchant, Leeuwenhoek had perfected the art of grinding lenses to help him see the quality of fabrics in detail. One day he decided to put a drop of Delft canal water under the lens. What he saw must have been astounding--multitudes of tiny creatures moving around! A new world, just on a smaller scale. And not so different from the world in our mead and sauerkraut."

The Creator (2023) sci-fi movie trailer
20th Century Studios has released the trailer for The Creator, the new film from director Gareth Edwards. The 20th Century Studios' upcoming feature The Creator, AI takes on an even more dangerous form: technology fully capable of waging war against humanity. So, it's up to one man (John David Washington), to find the mind behind the AI. Ahead of the film's release on September 29, 20th Century Studios released the first teaser trailer. The trailer for Gareth Edwards’ new film shows humanity being outsmarted by AI – and is released just as our overlords-to-be are rearing their terrifying heads The trailer opens on a vast area surrounded by water and futuristic type buildings. A young child asks Washington's character, Joshua, about heaven, and whether Joshua will ever go there. His answer, "it's a peaceful place in the sky," is starkly contrasted by a raging war, complete with explosions, gunfire, and an intense rendition of Aerosmith's "Dream On." As the trailer continues, it reveals humanity has been at war with the AI for a decade, and there are no indicators of it slowing down. Eventually, though, Joshua pins down an important weapon, sending him into a crisis of conscience. Despite said weapon being AI, it seems the movie will also beg the question of just how capable AI is of humanity -- and whether it should be destroyed. The film was written, directed, and produced by Gareth Edwards, who devised the story and co-wrote the screenplay with Chris Weitz. Edwards produced alongside Kiri Hart, Jim Spencer, and Arnon Milchan. Executive producers include Yariv Milchan, Michael Schaefer, Natalie Lehmann, Nick Meyer, and Zev Foreman. Alongside Washington and Chan, the film stars Ken Watanabe, Sturgill Simpson, Allison Janney, and newcomer Madeleine Yuna Voyles. Read the full article

@anyathefandom Yes, exactly. They teased Michael getting into Sonny's business a few times (ex. that time he bought a gun to go after Abby's attacker with and talked with the Zaccharas, that time he represented the Corinthos family at a meeting of Port Charles's Five Families while Sonny was in the hospital, that time Kristina found him sitting in Sonny's chair in Sonny's office) and they should have done it.
Having him embrace A.J. and his biological Quartermaine family business was a mistake that made Michael less interesting. And after he'd outright said he would have hated growing up in the Quartermaine house, too. And they'd even had a plotline with him trying the junior executive thing when Edward gave him a job and being bored with it, back when he was dating Abby.
Give. Me. Mobster!Michael. That's all i want. Period.

New Moon review SPOILER ALERT
November 29th, 2009
So last week I watched two films. New Moon and 2012. Yep. In all honesty the latter was the better film.
John Cusack sleeping his way through another apocalypse fetish film as a limo driver/science fiction writer complete with his estranged family (and the token son who just wont call him dad!) was more entertaining then the tragic romantic love triangle of the human, werewolf and vampire.
So beware, there are SPOILERS HERE. Yes I may have bitched and moaned about these books and films more then anything in recent history but in equal measure I have had goosebumps over the trailers, fawned over the set pictures and put a poster up in my room….(DONT YOU JUDGE ME).
So the film starts and things are pretty much the same in rainy old Forks: Bella is as drippy and obsessed with Edward McConcrete Chest Cullen as ever as he wonders the halls in slow motion looking dreamy, and they can’t kiss for too long because he as much as he loves her he still might rip out her entrails and wear them as a party frock.
Yes my friends, everything seemed to be going swimmingly in the life of K Stew and R Pattz….except for one thing… who is that muscle clad pug nosed of a man with a bad wig? It is Jacob and he has been taking his steroids! Surely he can not interfere in their sickening non penetrative love? BUT ALAS during her birthday party she nearly gets eaten and Edward decides it is not safe for their love to continue so he flees.
Bella decides the only way she can cope is go to mental in a chair for a while, and thus begins the lasiest film making I have seen in a long time SHAME ON YOU CHRIS WEITZ!
It’s boring, its tedious, Bella is only allowed a personality in small tiny doses, and her eyebrows seem weird. Jacob is fetishised in a way no 16 year boy really should be, and seems spends most of the film hanging around topless with his other topless mates talking about he can’t tell Bella about their “secret.” It appears he has joined a chippendale group.
The only good scene in this film is a wooded sequence with a Thom Yorke song backgrounding the evil vampire Victoria prancing about in the woods looking for Bella as the werewolves close in. One good visual scene does not make a movie and it only picks up in interest when they go to see Michael Sheen at the end as the head of the evil Voltari.
Edward Pale Painted on Abs Cullen is absent for most of the film, giving Bella some well needed space to go mental and when he returns at the end you realise that missed old squished nose…. and when Michael Sheen appears to decide whether to punish him for nearly revealing the existance of vampires you realise you miss someone with charisma. Anyway Dakota Fanning is at the end and she has red eyes and when she says pain, people feel in pain.
It ends on a cliffhanger much akin to a bad episode of Sunset Beach and my soul felt heavy with grief.
Do yourself a favor, dont see this film, go on youtube instead and type in Wizard People by Brad Neely. Watch that instead.

"Each macroscopic transformation corresponds to a different molecular transformation. At 63C (145.5F), an egg white protein named ovotransferrin unfolds. As you increase the temperature, other yolk proteins unfold--ovalbumin, ovomucoid, ovoglobulin, and many more. What's so remarkable is that all of these transitions occur within the narrow span of 13 degrees Celsius. Perhaps nowhere else in cooking is accurate temperature control as important as here. Even a degree off can result in an incorrectly cooked egg."
